Trucking insurance leads from brand new carriers

New trucking companies need commercial insurance, and they often start shopping in their first weeks. Trajovia sends insurance agents a daily list of newly registered carriers, filtered by state, fleet size and cargo, so your quote offer arrives early.

Who it is for

Independent insurance agents and brokers who write commercial truck policies, and agency sales teams who want fresh carriers to call each morning.

Why a new carrier is worth a call

Carriers that haul for hire generally need liability insurance on file with the FMCSA before their operating authority becomes active, and the amounts depend on what they haul. A carrier that registered this week is very likely to be making that decision now. Check the current FMCSA rules before you advise anyone.

Seeing the carrier at the start gives you a chance to be the first quote, not the fifth.

Filters that match how you quote

  • Number of trucks and drivers, so you can target the fleet sizes you write
  • Cargo types the carrier listed, such as general freight or building materials
  • For-hire or private operations
  • State, up to 5 states on Regional and every state on National

What you see before you pick up the phone

Each lead shows the company name, location, trucks, drivers, cargo types, phone, email and a score. A badge warns you when a phone number is used by several carriers or an email belongs to a filing service, so you do not waste a call.

Work the list in one place

Mark each carrier new, called, quoted, won or not interested. Your status is private to your account. Export the current list to CSV for your agency system at any time.

What Trajovia does not show

We list newly registered carriers from the FMCSA Company Census File. We do not show a carrier’s current insurer, policy or renewal date, because FMCSA does not publish renewal dates. National subscribers also get alerts for carriers that have an authority suspension notice or a cancelled liability or cargo policy on FMCSA’s public daily files.

Frequently asked questions

Do new carriers need insurance before they can operate?

For-hire carriers generally need required liability insurance on file with the FMCSA before operating authority becomes active, and the minimums depend on what they haul. Check current FMCSA rules before you give a carrier advice.

Which new carriers should an insurance agent call first?

Start with active for-hire carriers that have several trucks and a high lead score. Fleet size and the cargo list tell you what policy to quote, and the score ranks the rest.

Can I filter by cargo type?

Yes. You can filter by the cargo types the carrier listed, for example general freight or building materials, along with state, fleet size and authority type.

Does Trajovia show a carrier’s current insurance?

No. Trajovia lists newly registered carriers from the FMCSA census file. It does not show a carrier’s current insurer or policy dates, and FMCSA does not publish renewal dates. National subscribers also get alerts for authority suspension notices and cancelled policies. A suspension notice is not a confirmed insurance lapse.

Which states have the most new carriers?

In the records we pulled, Texas, California and Florida were consistently among the largest. Your daily email covers only the states you choose.

Can I call new carriers to offer insurance?

Yes, as long as your outreach follows the rules that apply to you. TCPA, CAN-SPAM and Do Not Call rules cover calls, texts and email, and your state may have its own insurance solicitation rules. You are responsible for compliance, and Trajovia does not give legal advice.
