Freight factoring leads from new carriers
New carriers often wait 30 to 60 days for brokers and shippers to pay, while fuel, insurance and truck payments are due now. Trajovia gives factoring companies a daily list of newly registered for-hire carriers so you can explain advances early.
Who it is for
Freight factoring companies and the sales reps who fund owner-operators and small carriers.
Why new carriers look at factoring
A carrier with a new DOT number has no payment history and no cushion. The first invoices go out before the first payments come in. That gap is the reason a quick call about advances can land well.
Which new carriers fit
- For-hire carriers. About 73% of the carriers we measured declared for-hire operations.
- Active records with at least one truck
- Owner-operators and small fleets, which you can find with the trucks filter
- Carriers with a phone number and email on file, which is nearly all of them
Find them by size
About half of new carriers report a single truck. Set the fleet size filter to 1 through 5 to see owner-operators and small fleets, or raise the range if you fund larger accounts. Private carriers, which haul their own goods, are usually not factoring prospects, and you can leave them out with the authority filter.
Reach out with context
On the National plan, AI outreach scripts write a short call script and email for a factoring company from the carrier’s own details. They do not quote rates or promise approval, and you replace the name and company placeholders before you use them.
Track your pipeline
Mark each carrier new, called, quoted, won or not interested. Export the current list to CSV for your CRM whenever you need it.

Frequently asked questions
Which new carriers are the best factoring prospects?
Active for-hire carriers with one to a few trucks are the usual fit. They have invoices coming and often no financing in place. Use the authority and fleet size filters to find them, and the lead score to order the list.
How many new for-hire carriers are there?
About 8,700 carriers declared for-hire operations among the 11,946 added in the 29 days we measured, which is roughly 73%. The share changes from month to month.
Does Trajovia show a carrier’s revenue or credit?
No. We list public registration data from the FMCSA census file: name, location, contacts, fleet size, cargo types and operation type. There is no revenue, credit or invoice data.
How fast should I contact a new carrier?
As soon as you can. The data runs about 2 to 3 days behind registration, so each day you wait is another day the carrier has to choose someone else.
Can I limit leads to one state?
Yes. Starter covers 1 state, Regional up to 5 states, and National every state. Your daily email follows your filters.
Is it okay to cold call a new carrier?
Cold outreach to businesses is allowed in many cases, but TCPA, CAN-SPAM and Do Not Call rules still apply to calls, texts and email. You are responsible for following them in your own campaigns, and a lawyer can tell you what applies to yours.
